Use:
1~10KV overhead insulated cables are suitable for AC 50HZ, rated voltage 0.6/1~8.7/10KV overhead power line and transformer extraction line.
Cable variety:
The voltage level of overhead insulated cables is divided into: 0.6/1, 3.6/6, 6/6 (6/10) and 8.7/10KV, which are applicable to the overhead laying of transmission and distribution lines with different voltage levels.
An overhead insulated conductor wire core comprises a copper core, an aluminum core and an aluminum alloy core.
Overhead insulated cable insulation materials include: weather resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), weather resistant polyethylene (PE) and crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE).
Cable type, name and application:
Note: PVC insulation is not recommended for use in light and high pressure
Laying conditions and use characteristics:
Long term maximum operating temperature of the cable: polyvinyl chloride insulated cable 70 degrees Celsius.
Cross linked polyethylene insulated cables 90
Temperature of cable laying is not less than -20
Minimum bending radius of cable: cable diameter R D < 25mm R > 4D, D > 25mm, R > 6D
The insulating layer can prevent outdoor rain even erecting electricity, safe operation. And with external rot function, the cable can be installed in the coastal environment, such as corrosive gases.
